From the flock to the mill, these blankets are fully traceable and 100% Yorkshire fabric. We have drawn inspiration from the dramatic and beautiful local Yorkshire landscapes to put this collection together and created a truly sustainable, truly Yorkshire blanket range.
Supersoft Fleece = Supersoft Blankets
The fleece from Blue Face Leicester and Masham breeds is used to produce the supersoft yarn which we use to weave these blankets. The long, lustrious fibres from these fleece make a luxurious British blanket and we are lucky to have plenty of these sheep in the local Yorkshire Dales.
All about West Yorkshire
The fleece is scoured, sorted, carded and spun in West Yorkshire before being sent to the mill for weaving. Keeping things local means that we can draw on the vast experience within the woollen trade in West Yorkshire as well as reducing our carbon footprint and improving sustainability of our blankets.
